The use of carrier tape has traditionally been reserved for automatic handling operations because unloading components from tape by hand without a feeder is clumsy. Therefore, trays are generally specified for manual assembly and carrier tape for automatic production. With manual tape feeders, not only is your manual assembly throughput enhanced, your logistics become much simpler.
